The Margaret A Jackson Youth Scholarship Fund
"Let's help our youth have a brighter future"
This scholarship fund was created to assist those young people who attend this church and express a desire to pursue higher education. Those students who are high school juniors or seniors are eligible to receive a scholarship. These scholarships are designed to help those students who cannot afford to pay for their own education but have a desire and determination to attend college or trade school. The eligibility criteria established for this scholarship was developed by the membership of this church with much prayerful consideration. The clause that indicates the recipient must be a member or child of a member is not meant to discriminate in anyway. It is merely a way to ensure the church is assisting its own members primarily.
The need for this scholarship has been apparent for many years. We are grateful to God that we have finally committed to making the scholarship a reality. The name of the scholarship was chosen to honor the co-founder of this church for her dedication to education and love of young people. It is the desire of this congregation of believers that every young person who desired to, and strives for higher education that goal. We will help them by giving of ourselves!
